Dena Branning is a private person who now has a public author website; oh, the irony. A lifelong reader, she would imagine other endings for books, or ways she would have written dialogue differently. After years of volunteering with animal-assisted therapy, the stories were just waiting to be told, and she wrote her first book, No Visitors-Except The Dogs. Two years later, the idea for another book was brewing. She started writing a cozy mystery, but God turned it into so much more. I'm Your Second is her first novel, one she will always credit to God as giving her the plot, the Scriptures, and the words to tie it all together. A Midwest farm girl at heart, she now lives in Florida and has plenty of time to write.
